Today I Walked With Dolphins
Something inside of me moved me to the edge of the cliff where I could see, just a 100 ft in front of me thousands of dolphins… I have known for a very long time that in the animal totem, dolphins mean, “ascended masters.” I smiled to myself, grateful to be graced by their presence and reminded of me of my own connection to Source.
It felt like my knowing guiding me to more freedom and joy through an experience, unknown by my head but trusted by my heart and core. Feeling their presence I immediately thought of my mother in Oregon who loves the Spirit of the dolphins and has always had a special affinity for them. I wished she was their to see them, but knowing she was hours away, I asked to send their presence energetically to her.
Seconds later, the dolphins spoke to my heart and I could hear them say, “you must first receive our love to be able to pass it on to another.”
This of course made me smile again, I really never stopped smiling the whole walk…. To be this connected to the Spirit of the earth and life around me was magical. I realized that this really is the essence of Intuition, to be so attuned that we feel another and interact with life in such a way that brings more beauty, respect and reverence to the gift of life we have.
I allowed the love of the dolphins to flow into me and through me, sending it back out through my heart to my mom residing hours away. The power of love and energy transcended all time and space. I could all emotional and mental limitations within me set free, except for the sudden urge to jump off the cliff and join them in the peaceful waters of the sea!
The lightness I felt reminded me of how the dolphins must feel, floating freely in the vastness of the ocean, moving in a steady rhythm to the heartbeat of love.
I am so grateful for experiences like these that remind me of who I really am, an infinite creator, connected to the Great Connector and Creator of Life. The Life Force Connection was felt at such a deep level that I couldn’t wait to come home and write about the experience…
As I continued on my way back, I noticed the dolphins continued at their steady pace, but the path I was on took me in a different direction momentarily. I paused and allowed my heart to fill up once again, and then continued to walk. I now wonder if taking a pause is like the breath of oxygen the dolphins take in as their fins pierce through the surface of the sea. Maybe!
Slowly they faded further away, my spirit could still feel them and I started reciting in my head what I would write when I got home. With inspiration flowing unstoppably, I heard myself say, ” I walked with dolphins this morning….” and as I did, their beautiful shiny fins poked through the surface again. Breathtaking! In that moment, I realized the power I had to create with my thoughts and words. By simply thinking about the dolphins and saying what I was doing, they appeared! Wow, what else could I create with my thoughts today? Such power here…
